VertaCall is operated by VertaCloud, a Delaware company. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit waitlist.vertacall.net or join our waitlist, and how we use it.

What We Collect

When you join the waitlist

  • Email address — so we can notify you when VertaCall launches.
  • Hashed IP address — a one-way hash of your IP, used solely for abuse prevention. We do not store your raw IP address.
  • Timestamp — when you signed up.
  • Source tag — a short identifier indicating where your visit originated. Defaults to landing_page; overridden when a ?source= parameter is present in the URL.

When you visit the site

  • Cloudflare edge logs — aggregate request metadata (request counts, country, response codes) automatically logged by Cloudflare as our hosting provider. This data is aggregated and not personally identifiable.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — an invisible bot-detection service that verifies you are a real person. No CAPTCHA is shown. Turnstile may set a cookie. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking pixels.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.
  • We do not store raw IP addresses or browser fingerprints.

How We Use Your Data

  • To send you a launch notification when VertaCall is ready.
  • To prevent spam and abuse of the waitlist.
  • To understand aggregate traffic patterns (via Cloudflare).

We will not send marketing emails beyond the launch notification, updates, and related offerings.

Data Storage

Waitlist data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a database service operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Data is stored in the United States. Cloudflare maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance.

Data Retention

You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@vertacall.net.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
